Kind of a lagniappe to the hunt, a couple weeks ago as we were loading the cart, a game camera we use as a security camera took a lowlight picture of my dad and I wearing our camo. I was surprised to see how light our shirts and vests looked in the picture. Got me to wondering how ducks and turkeys would perceive it. I have always heard they can see UV, so I’m careful not to use UV brighteners. To my eye, it looks like really good camo. I’ve had it for 20 years and looks as good as the day I got it. It’s 100% polyester, though. My pants, which have majority cotton content, looked how I would’ve expected camo to look. For comparison, I’m wearing the same shirt and vest in the picture with Beau and the turkey.
