I like shootin the big ones with the 7mm mag or my bow but usually that will just piss off a 250lb boar. I shot 2 at about 40lb each one in the shoulder lost half the meat and the other one I shot in the eye that was better just blew the head slap off. I have shot some with 00 buck and stopped them where they stood

Man I wish we had a good population of pigs around here. Not wishing the crop damage on the farmers, but I would like to have a solid population to be able to chase around.

Its a good time for sure. The ranch I hunted was super brushy. A lot of the shots where 30yards or closer. Its a kick In the pants to sneak up on a big ol boar. only on one occasion have I had a real full on charge happen. Almost shit my pants. Most of the time they bail when they smell you. That son of a bitch didn't care. Fucker tried to eat me.

Our yuppie state we are allowed to run dogs but no knifing. Even though most guys that run dogs use knifes.

They have only recently said there us a small population if pigs in the southern most part if the state. Even though a few cats have been hit by cars, many pics on game cameras, and many reports of people seeing them, wildkife and parks is resistant to admit they are here. I have never seen one, but have seen and taken pics of tracks.

It's the same here in MN. Anytime proof of a cat is brought up, it's just a "roaming young male from South Dakota" even though there have been females found...

They probably do that so they don't have to budget for managing them. Once they admit they have them the treehuggers will start suits to protect them and the states end up in court if they don't do their biology on them.

Could be. We just had our first wolf season here this year. The tree thumpers let that one go over like a building demolition. Who cares about facts saying there are too many of them, they all must be saved!

It's unbelieveable how many you guys have there! Should have had a season long ago. I think your pop. estimate is something like 4-8x that of Montana!!!
