I like just about every genre. I just don't like the pop version of every genre. Unwritten law is definitely not metal.

Hell, you could get in my truck on any given day and you will hear everything from bluegrass to metal to punk to the oldies.
Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward. Whoever cannot take care of himself without that law is both. For a wounded man shall say to his assailant, "If I live, I will kill you. If I die, you are forgiven." Such is the rule of honor.

Seriously, Unwritten law is nothing close to metal. I listen to late 60's and early 70's rock, metal, punk, rock, and Christian music. With more Christian music and hippy rock than anything.

dammit rebel, and I was starting to really like you. Then you dropped that Christian rock hammer down on my fingers :( :( :( :(

For starters, I really only know of a few good "Christian" bands. I just think it's a huge marketing ploy as it is only in the US and Canada. Rock is rock, whether you sing about loving Jesus or hating him.

I wasn't so much talking about Christian rock as much as all Christian genres except pop, I don't like any pop. I am Christian and proud of it. However, I'm not like most. I don't force my beliefs on anyone and don't judge people for theirs, it's not place to think anything wrong or negative about anyone for their beliefs. We all have free will. One Christian rock band I do really like is Blindside.

it has nothing to do with religion to me besides exploiting it. Christianity is popular in the US and that's the only reason why it's marketed as Christian rock.

Here are a few that I like.

Agreed there, its an easy genre for the not so good bands to make it as a band. I listen to more praise music than Christian rock. If I'm listening to rock, I want to hear a guitar going off like there is no tomorrow or drums that'll blow your mind. More so the guitar.

That reminded me of these guys. They were pretty good, but never made it beyond a local San Diego band, to the best of my knowledge.
