jarbo03 wrote:Cost me $10 a year for turkey loads. Knowing that every bird yhey have been shot at were 1 shot kills, all the way to 81 yards, is worth it to me. They buck the wind better than anything else, that might be the best thing about them for where I hunt.

it aint about dads beating dads. When they are 3 yards away and dont see you a dove load would kill them.
I saw my cousin kill one at 55 yards one time. I much prefer the 20 yard shot. I am hoping Jarbo favors me with some high end shit, I am fairly shotgun illeterate. I know more about rifle ballistics.
What in the hell is TSS? Titty Squeezing Shot?

Red dot, or hopefully, my buddy digs around and finds those factory sights.....
DeadEye_Dan wrote:No different really than other shot type...but because of individual peer weight you can drop down shot sizes and get wicked dense patterns and still maintain enough penetration to kill.
I'm sure you could stack 2.25-2.50 oz in a 3.5" hull, but there is no need to.
Guessing with lostkinfe's 1 5/8 load of 7's he has more pellets (ad better patterns) that you would with a 2oz load of lead 5's.
