I just bought my second pair after 13 years. My Malinois decided to make a chew toy out of my old Ft Lewis boots so I had to order another pair. I contacted Danner and they informed me that they won't repair the hole, but if I'd get a local cobbler to patch them up I could send them in and get a new gor-tex lining put in under their repair program. I swear the price has gone up over a hundred dollars for a pair in about 13 years though.

I don't know all the specifics, but I do know they'll resole, repair stitching and some inside work like you mentioned for life.cw1074 wrote:Redbeard wrote:I hear ya. I had someone ask me the other day how I could pay over $300 for a pair of boots. I simply told them to wait until we chase some thug through leaking sewages behind the projects again and all I have to do is hose off while they are having to change socks because it leaked through their cheap throwaway boots. I will never be without my Danners again.
By the way, what is the warranty on them? I can't remember and all I did was look for the best deal and order them. I didn't research again since I knew what I was getting.
