Haha.

Go the other way and get a diesel. Chip, exhaust, and injectors, I bet you'll get about 20 mpg

I don't know what kind of mileage I get. If I Cared I'd drive a Baby blue Pruis. But I don't care, cuz I'm not gay.

3.49 here. Gas is the only issue with trip to Cali. Drivin 2000 miles one way is expensive.

You forgot to tell the young guys......They like it when you throw a big wake and bounce their boat off of the dock a few times.

That is the USCGC Stratton the 3rd National Security Cutter to be built. Also the newest CG cutter in the fleet.

That is a 47' Motor Life Boat, they are designed to completely role over in the surf.

There was another big cutter heading out to sea as we were entering the harbor. Didn't have time to take a picture as I didn't feeling like explaining to them the reason we rubbed paint in the narrow channel is because I was taking a picture for the guys on WFF.
I'll try to get some better shots if I can this week.

You joke but when I was stationed in Texas we got the call to go out and assist a 80ft Ketch that was taking on water trying to outrun Hurricane Dean. The worst seas I've been in and from the weather deck I could touch the water as the motor life boat heeled to the port side. I was glad to have the boat that night.

You're wasting your breath. Someone from the westcoast came to Kansas for the NCH. Your excuse is not valid. Beside, aren't you going to let the owner of the website pay for gas with all those Cabela's bucks he's earning.
I bet whatever you drive will get better MPG than my F-350 with a 460 in it.

No way I could have pulled that off, but I'm glad you made it. The bright side is, the Subaru is getting 23-25 mpg, trip to Cali is on the schedule.
