I've borrowed my dad's 2000 a couple times - nearly silent and it runs forever on a tank of fuel. He got the kit that draws fuel off an auxiliary tank, 6 gallon I think. I bet it'd run for a week on it.

we used one this summer for running the heater and fridge in a trailer, thing lasted 14+ hours on a tank. i was very impressed.
