When it is sho nuff cold and you are hunting the next day, be sure to put your hip boots/chest waders in the house to keep them warm, and in the cab of your truck for the trip to the launch. Putting on cold ass boots first thing in the morning is not pleasant, and will start the "my damn feet are freezing" sooner than you'd care to admit it

DUCK HUNTERS GET INTO THEIR TRUCKS WET SOMETIMES.
You can run the heater AND the ac at the same time and recirculate the air. Dry out quick and not fog up all your glass.

Here's another seldom mentioned tip.
That little cup...it needs to be clean AND POLISHED.
Remingtons have lots of problems lately with them not being polished, and making guns hang up.
Make sure you clean and inspect it.

When your fingers start cracking...use one of them pumice stones and scrub...
Counterintuitive but it works. Exfoliates the dead cracking skin.
Gives it a chance to heal.

I have found that A&D ointment works better than anything else for cracking skin. I will try the pumice stone and then the A&D

My fingers and hands crack bad in winter too, sucks! Aquaphor has worked well for me, but will have to try the pumice routine and the A & D ointment to see if they work any better. Just about the time they start to heal, it's time to hunt again and the cycle starts all over......grrrrrrr

X2 on the pumice stone. Working hands cream works well for me to heal it.

Try it on the shaft up close to the body. That's how the higdon brand floating mojos are.

For when you turn it off with the remote. You don't want the white side up when the wings are stationary.

I used to work at Shakeys 1977-80.
Mojos were around before spinning winged mojo decoys.

Here's something you all should know. This guys knows his survival stuff. I'll post a few of his videos.

This one could save your life along with this little tip. To get that first little ember is EASY if you happen to have a dry cotton ball.
In a pinch some frayed blue jeans catches fire super easily with just a spark or two.
