Wait, you mean leaving them in the bed of the truck all night in the rain is bad?
No way, neoprene can't get wet. @

Never pay attention to the weather report. It's always wrong and could cause you to sit home in your underwear pissed off all day bc your wife is making you go to something unmentionable that night. Tip of the day right there.

OK.
Here IS THE BEST TIP...
DUCK HUNTERS GET INTO THEIR TRUCKS WET SOMETIMES.
You can run the heater AND the ac at the same time and recirculate the air. Dry out quick and not fog up all your glass.

Here's another seldom mentioned tip.
That little cup...it needs to be clean AND POLISHED.
Remingtons have lots of problems lately with them not being polished, and making guns hang up.
Make sure you clean and inspect it.Image

I wouldn't know what that's like. I shoot a benelli.

When your fingers start cracking...use one of them pumice stones and scrub...
Counterintuitive but it works. Exfoliates the dead cracking skin.
Gives it a chance to heal.

I have found that A&D ointment works better than anything else for cracking skin. I will try the pumice stone and then the A&D

My fingers and hands crack bad in winter too, sucks! Aquaphor has worked well for me, but will have to try the pumice routine and the A & D ointment to see if they work any better. Just about the time they start to heal, it's time to hunt again and the cycle starts all over......grrrrrrr

X2 on the pumice stone. Working hands cream works well for me to heal it.

Mojo remote install is more than putting the module in.
Get some lead stickers from a hobby shop. Its lead with sticky...
Balance the wings so when they stop the white is down...
This is a big deal and a good tip.

I couldn't get it to work with a weight. White side still wanted to be up occasionally.

Change the position of the weight, I put it under the painted on speculums of the wings close to the edge. I had to rough up the wing with some sand paper to get it to hold, otherwise they'd fly off while hunting.

Tried that. Baby mojo won't spin a weight out that far. I'm going to figure something out this summer though

Try it on the shaft up close to the body. That's how the higdon brand floating mojos are.

Why is it important to have the white down? They spin and flash, right? I don't get it.

For when you turn it off with the remote. You don't want the white side up when the wings are stationary.

Something about presenting a decoy with the wings on upside down...flares ducks.
If you have the right side up it looks like a bird that's about to splash down. White flares em

Mojos are the round fried potatoes sold at Shakey's Pizza.
I used to work at Shakeys 1977-80.
Mojos were around before spinning winged mojo decoys.

Here's something you all should know. This guys knows his survival stuff. I'll post a few of his videos.

This one could save your life along with this little tip. To get that first little ember is EASY if you happen to have a dry cotton ball.
In a pinch some frayed blue jeans catches fire super easily with just a spark or two.
