That's cause they don't eat. A lot of the places in Korea, you order by the person. For example, 3 Koreans will come in, and request a certain food, and then say "for the 3 people", sort of like we say "large" or "small", I guess. I would often go to the bulgogi or kamjatang shops, sit down (by myself) and order "bulgogi for 5 people", or "kamjatang for 6 people". They always acted as if my Korean was jacked up, and it took a few moments (and often a little arguing) to make those fuckers understand that I wanted that much food brought to me, and it wasn't a mistake in my comprehension of the fucked up Korean numbering system. Ordering "for 1" is fine, if you're a 125 pound Korean.

Sort of like the korean version of a taco 12 pack?

I deep fried a chicken in my turkey fryer. Injected it with Creole butter. Mmmm.

Dammit, I should have taken you a picture jarbo. Last night we had 'totchos' - like nachos except a pile of tots rather than tortilla chips.

No hairnet necessary, but they did have a 5# bag of tortilla chips for $6.50.

I've been working on it and it's freaking awesome. Like eating steak, only finer in texture. I do a rub/marinade of lime juice, apple cider vinegar, chili powder, cumin, salt, black pepper, minced garlic and honey on the duck in a ziplock for an hour or so, then drain off the excess and coat it all in olive oil. Keep it in the fridge and pull out whatever I need for meal at hand. Med high grill, 3-5 minutes per side depending on size of meat, plus a few minutes of rest makes it medium rare. Melts in the mouth. The veggies and rice round it out nicely.

What's the recipe for the coconut-chili sauce? Gonna give this a try.
