Sunrise brought colder temps, sleet mixed with snow. So perfect day for some Chicken Tortilla Soup.

Because corn is delicious!

It's the way my dad always made it. Most people start using it in their recipe after trying chili with corn.

I was thinking it looks EXACTLY like what happens when I accidentally gut the stomach open when gutting a deer. Exactly.

Gotta have mustard style potatoe salad and put a scoop of it in the bowl of gumbo and try cracking a few eggs into the pot about 10 minutes before it's done but don't stir it you want em whole

Duck, shrimp, and smoked sausage in the gumbo. She's making them teriyaki wings and that pie I made.

Some good eats being has around here today. I am currently slow cooking some cubed goose in a bourbon and white wine gravy. Should be falling apart by halftime, smelling great.

Might have to try that. Wife whipped up a batch of tater salad last night. Duck was smoked over Pecan and andoullie from best stop. Ribs come off the pit next.
