Sorry to hear that. Hope you didn't buy them to keep your feet dry for a season or more.
Meh. Wanted to give them a go. They are nice and light weight. Time will see.

I don't even give boot weight a thought when it comes to being cold and wet. Your feet being uncomfortable will send you back to camp out elk hunting faster than most anything else.
If you can keep your feet warm and dry (blister free is good too) then you will hang it out longer.
I pretty much only buy Kennetreks now that I have had them. I figure you can spend $200 every year or two on Danner or danner type boots or you can buy one pair of Kenetreks and have dry feet for years to come for around $400. I'm on my 5th season with one pair and 4th season with the other.
I also wear them for my conditioning walks that start in February and go through to the fall seasons. Both pairs have hundreds and maybe thousands of miles(okay maybe a thousand miles.)

Probably? You know it's true!
Do you get to hunt elk every year at home, or is it a lottery?
GadwallGetter530 wrote:QH's Paw wrote:Or, blacktail? The best blacktail hunting is in the rain.
Yeah. Most of the time i hunt small pieces of property in the valley. I've killed most of my deer either wearing slip on boots or even waders when its storming real bad.
