Early season is when the weather is the nicest and I can hunt in tennis shoes and shirt sleeves. Of course, I hunt the first 2-3 days of duck season, then I go hang out with all the other queer bait hillbillies and try to shoot 'ma deer, because I'm not a dedicated waterfowler. Now it's December, and only the most dedicated die-hard waterfowlers are still willing to risk hypothermia and death to shoot birds .
I took the liberty of translating for everyone.
Ahhh, much better now.
Makes way more sense. I prefer to fill the freezer with birds.
Not me. I never get tired of deer. Hell, if it was legal to hunt cows, that's what I'd do 90% of the time.
Cows are awesome. You feed a family, I feed myself, 1 deer will last me a year. Of course that is along with all other critters I kill.[/quote]
1 deer doesn't last us 2 months. Last year, we (Dad, brother, uncle, me) got 11 deer in a week. 5 in 1 day. It's July and we're out of deer and and almost out of elk meat.
