Got one today.
Should have already known this stuff but since I learned something today I figure it would be nice to share.
A fully charged battery will not freeze until it is -76F. (wow)
A fully discharged battery can freeze at 32F (d'oh)
I think I wasted a good battery by leaving my GPS unit and a couple car chargers hooked up all the time. It ran the battery down enough to where it froze and that does shit to the wiring inside. (think I lost a cell)
The battery charges and the machine says it's fully charged but my charger kept wanting to push 6 amps thru it.
That was a signal to me...
The battery was fully charged, had 12.79 volts, yet tested BAD at autostoned.
I think the lesson is to unplug the phone chargers and GPS power supply when you are not driving daily and it's winter.
Got a 65 series battery for $48 somethin at Walmart and am back in business
